The violinist Yelyzaveta (Elisabeth) Zaitseva was born in 1997 in Kyiv (Ukraine) in the family of orchestra musicians. At the age of 6 she received her first violin lessons at the city music school from her mother. Already from the second grade Yelyzaveta changed schools to the music boarding school for gifted children in Kyiv, from which she graduated with honors in 2015.
Already in the school years the young violinist performed at various international competitions, which brought first prizes and a Grand Prix.
In 2015, after graduating from high school, Zaitseva went to Germany to study music in Nuremberg in the class of Prof. Daniel Gaede (former concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra).
In the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons, Yelyzaveta played with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra.
Now she performs with the extensive repertoire as a chamber musician, orchestral player and soloist with the orchestra.
