Adrian Werum founded the orchestra in 2010 in Stuttgart, a city that is home to industry heavyweights such as BOSCH, PORSCHE and MERCEDES. Stuttgart, a young city with more than 50% immigrants, offered itself as a location for Adrian’s latest innovative project, the “Orchestra of Cultures”.

He began his career in Vienna as an arranger for Austrian Television and as a conductor for shows such as “Grease” and “Beauty and the Beast”. In 1997 he began his collaboration with Roman Polanski as musical director of the worldwide success “Dance of the Vampires”, which he also brought to Broadway.

In 2014, together with Cornelius Baltus, he wrote the new operetta “Hollywood Diva” in St. Petersburg / Russia and won the “Golden Mask” for the best new Russian musical for his work as composer / lyricist / orchestrator. He is also the author of a new musical version of “Narcissus & Goldmund” based on the novel by Hermann Hesse.

His work for German television and MTV led to collaborations with

Unheilig, Rolando Villazon, Marshall & Alexander, Ute Lemper, Abeer Nehme, Michael Crawford and many more.
