Tina Turner (b. November 26, 1939 as Anna Mae Bullock in Brownsville, Tennessee; † May 24, 2023 in Küsnacht, Canton of Zurich) was a singer and actress. A native of the United States, she took Swiss citizenship in 2013 and renounced her U.S. citizenship.
She rose to fame in the 1960s with her then-husband Ike Turner as the rhythm-and-blues duo Ike & Tina Turner. After her divorce, she became the “Queen of Rock ‘n’Roll” in the 1980s as a solo artist, selling over 180 million records.[1][2][3] The
