Bob Mintzer (born January 27, 1953 in New Rochelle, New York) is an American jazz and fusion musician(saxophone, clarinet, wind transducer) as well as a composer, arranger and bandleader.

Mintzer worked with musicians such as Eumir Deodato, Tito Puente, Buddy Rich and Hubert Laws in the mid-1970s and was a member of the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra in 1977. Since 1978 he led his own band, with which he recorded more than twenty albums.
