John Leslie “Wes” Montgomery (b. March 6, 1923[1] in Indianapolis, Indiana; † June 15, 1968 ibid) was a U.S. jazz guitarist whose thumb-strummed octave chains and melodic runs remain one of the most influential jazz guitarists today.

I especially like the band sound on this recording.

I don’t miss a double bass there either. 😉

Have fun listening to this album !

P.S.: Maybe you enjoy the listening pleasure together with a Glass of wine from our “Orchestra of Cultures Edition”.
